Busy Pink Saturday

Happy Thanksgiving Week-end!!
This last few days have been a blurr....40 people in my tiny house for 4 days..has been interesting and surprisingly fun....I am tired and sitting here watching loved ones sitting in little groups finishing up their visits...tomorrow everyone will leave and I will have an empty, dirty house ...it is always sad to say good bye...
We are very blessed and thankful!!!!
My Elizabeth found these cute little pink bunny footed jammies at Target....she loves them..and so do I..
I will try and visit as many of my pink friends as I can...but I am sure just like me many will be cleaning up...

Lets have a PINK Christmas

Good Morning.... again my friends...what a busy week-end I have ahead of me...I know we are all rushing about preparing for our holiday week ahead of us....try and remember to take a break and thank GOD for all HIS provision ...I find it hard to do this myself but I am really going to make an effort to do this...

Having a Blue Pink Saturday......

Good Morning.....all my pink friends .....
I am feeling alittle blue today...my Dad(Franklin) came for a visit this last week..he is 76 years old and he and my step mom made the long trip from Kirbyville, Texas to Kansas....almost 900 miles...
in the picture above he is in the chair and I am the one standing.
I look at the picture wishing I could remember what it was like for him to hold me and play with me..time goes way to fast..
We had a lovely visit..it was just to short..always sad when we have to part...

I visited a new blog and it is Sissie's Shabby Cottage...she has a beautiful blog...check it out.

Pink Saturday.......

Morning....it is Indian Summer around here...we are getting the yard all cleaned up and ready for snow this week-end....if it ever gets cold...
I found this old frame at an estate sale..it was an ugly brown color and wasn't sure what I would do with it but I just had to get it....so quick coat of white paint and a few minutes later here is what I got....the pale pink just bled through the white all by its self....looks like I did it...
well
I kept moving this frame from one place to another for a few days and it just never fit any where...
Then I had an idea....I screwed it to the door leading to our basement after painting an oval of chalkboard paint on the door....and then I decided to use it to display...

STAR OF THE WEEK...
I put names of all the family members that live here in town and we draw a name each week and that person is the star of the week...they get some extra attention...extra prayer...and a small treat ..it will be fun

Broken Clock....

Hi ..all my pink friends..
It is past midnight and I should be in bed..but I have to do PINK SATURDAY..........
I have come to so enjoy surfing around and meeting new friends ..and visiting with old ones that I think all thru the week what can I do for pink Saturday....I went to get my hair done this week and in the shop there are some estate sale things...I saw this little pink clock just sittin there....

It just was calling my name....the back is missing a few screws..aren't we all???
It was dirty....did not know if it worked but it was cute and pink;so I bought her for $3...
I sat down to examine her...there was a film of hair spray on the front..it made me wonder who had this little clock and where were they now....I cleaned off the hair spray and shined up the rhinestones

wound her up and she works!

You won't believe my week.....My baby became a young lady this week....it was that dreaded time...she called ..Mom...
we had talked of this time but I think she was a little frightened..we talked more and then made a trip to the store....she is only 11; so it seems to soon! I am the one that wasn't ready...

Well...I found this site "MOXIE"...it was so cute to mouse over the dresser..you should go take a look..I don't know if you can buy these any where in the States..but I would love to buy them for us!!
